The Hindi version of Kajol And Dhanush’s forthcoming Tamil film Velai illa Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2), which releases on July 28, will now be called VIP 2 (Lalkar), reports news agency IANS. It is Kajol and Dhanush’s first film together and the makers wanted the title to be pan-India. “It was a strategic move to make sure the film reaches across all states. With Kajol and Dhanush coming together in a movie for the first time, the title has to connect with the masses. The Director of the film is Soundarya. She is Rajinikanth’s daughter and Dhanush’s sister-in-law.

The story revolves around dhanus and kajol. Kajol is the owner of a real estate company named Vasundhara Constructions. Both dhanus and kajol are trying for same project. Kajol offering dhanus to be the employee of the company and saying to be an employee of my company will bring you huge status then being owner of your own company. Dhanush saying nicely I will prefer to be cat’s head instead of being tail of lion.
Another nice dialog: Earlier At least you were an engineer at my company. Today you have no identity. Dhanush saying : Amul baby, I have my own permanent signature VIP (Velai Illa Pattadhari).
