The film is special for him since, apart from playing the lead, he is debuting as a producer, along with director Anurag Basu. The duo has started their banner Picture Shuru Productions. Film is written and directed by Anurag basu. IT is an musical adventure romantic comedy film tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. Cinematography of this film is done by Barfi and Raamleela fame Ravi Varman. So we can expect nice cinematography.

People are assuming that the delay of Jagga Jasoos was due to Ranbir and Katrina’s Breakup but Anurag Basu revealed that It was completed his fault. His film barfi had done very well at box office. It was the first time he had earned a lot of money. He shot only 10 days in 2015 for Jagga Jasoos. Then he was working on the film to make it more to satisfy the audience and make it a bigger hit then barfi.
First it was a roomer that gobinda is doing a camio in it but later denied by Anurag saying that “Our loss that govinda is not a part of it”. Now it is a roomer that sahrukh is doing cameo in it.
Ranbir and Katrina were supposed to do a track for it which they probably use for promotions. But it was not possible due to altered physique. Ranbir is doing Rajkumar Hirani-directed film on the biopick of sanjaya dutt and Katrina is doing athelete role in Tiger zinda hai with salman khan.
This movie is about 3 hours duration and has 29 songs. Pritam Chakrabarty who gave hit music of barfi is the music director of this film. the songs are a part of the narrative and take the story of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ further.
Do you remember Saswata Chatterjee, played a simple looking scary contract killer Bob Biswas in kahani(2012) starring vidya balan. He is playing role of Jagga’s father in this film. He is 47 year old and belongs to Calcutta.
Saurabh Shukla plays role of a Police Inispector and probably the villain of the movie who was also played an important role in Barfi.
Theory : Jagga’s father was a professor so it may be possible that due to any of his invention he was killed or kidnapped.
Probably this is the scene where they went to confirm his father’s invention.
